Given the importance of maintaining safety standards and clearly defining accountability for safety-critical bulk materials, this work group is dedicated to consolidating existing knowledge and best practices into a comprehensive reference document.
Focus Areas
- Providing guidance on the implications when bulk materials and/or catalog items become critical in safety components.
- Emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety standards for safety-critical bulk materials and catalog items.
- Defining responsibilities between OEMs, Tier N suppliers, and Bulk/Catalog suppliers in build-to-spec and build-to-print scenarios.
