Requirements

Prerequisite:

Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering processes helps attendees better understand how to implement (apply) and audit IATF 16949 requirements.

Successful Completion

Two elements are involved in the successful completion of this course:

The continual evaluation of the attendee's attitudes, auditing capability, performance as team members when role-playing, and communication skills (performed independently by all instructors involved with the class). Note: If the evaluation criteria are not met, attendees will fail the continual evaluation, resulting in failure of the course. The instructors will inform attendees throughout the course about any concerns related to their continual evaluation.

A written examination that covers the content of IATF 16949:2016 and the application of audit principles and practices based on IATF 16949:2016. Fifty percent of the examination grade is based on questions that require comprehension of the audit process and the application of IATF 16949:2016. The remainder of the  examination grade is based on multiple-choice, true/false, or short-answer knowledge questions.
