As part of the Global Automotive Purchasing and Supply Chain Network (GAPSCN), this joint offering helps attendees focus on supply chain leadership skills while building a network to support their success at the next level. Individual companies benefit as well, as the program provides additional leadership and retention opportunities to high performers.
Distinguished from similar courses by its participatory nature, this development program is far more than just another lecture-based seminar. Attendees learn with, and from, 20-25 peer participants, as world-class program facilitators lead engaging sessions on the practical applications of cutting-edge supply chain strategies and tools.
Another unique aspect of this program is that individuals are not only nominated by their own organizations to participate, but also work closely with senior leader “advisors” at their companies who provide mentoring and accountability.
Following the three-day program’s conclusion, attendees are tasked with leading a “supply chain transformation project” of their company’s choosing, where new knowledge and skills can be applied, and business gains tracked. This project should directly relate to the program’s curriculum and focus on an area not previously addressed by the attendee or company.
Four months after the initial three-day program concludes, participants will reconvene for a second two-day session to report out on their transformation project outcomes, including the estimated financial impact on their companies and lessons learned throughout the process.
