Whether the manufacturer of importer is located in the U.S. (USMCA), Canada (CUSMA), or Mexico (T-MEC), the automotive industry as a whole has been significantly affected by dramatic rule changes, including an increase in overall value content requirements, the introduction of the Labor Value Content (LVC) requirements, and new categories and requirements for the qualification of automotive parts. The new USMCA Content Reporting course - developed by OEM, supplier, and free trade agreement experts - is an in-depth, comprehensive training geared toward automotive trade compliance practitioners and working managers. The training is scheduled for two consecutive days (16 hours total).

  • USMCA Content Reporting - 1 Day

    Live Virtual Training

    The USMCA went into force on July 1, 2020, and replaced NAFTA as the trilateral free trade agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Significant changes to rules of origin affecting the automotive industry were implemented, including increases in regional value content (RVC) requirements, the introduction of a new labor value content (LVC) requirement and establishment of new auto part categories and requirements. As industry adjusts to the new requirements, many vehicle producers and suppliers are working together to gather information to support calculations, increase qualifying content, and become audit-ready.
