The IMDS Steering Committee update will look at the process on how IMDS is enhanced and will provide more background on one of the most influential enhancements "Chemistry Manager". Also I will provide some insight into possible future enhancements in 2018 and finally look into the one of the major IMDS challenges, which is data quality. This presentation will provide insights on how to further improve the data and answering the question why high data quality is so important. It furthermore elaborates on the impact of the EU Court of Justice decision on the article definition and its impact on IMDS.
