Course Information

In this 2-day training, develop a complete appreciation for ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, including the process approach, and an understanding of how it is necessary and valuable to your overall business management system. This course is designed to provide new implementation team members and representatives from key functional groups involved in the organization’s QMS with the necessary knowledge to support their organization in achieving compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Demonstrate an understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
  • Apply specific clauses, relate the clauses to the intent of the standard and how it is linked by the process approach
  • Analyze the impact of your organization's decision to implement an IATF 16949:2016 quality management system
  • Identify customer oriented processes and maximize the benefits of IATF 16949:2016
  • Determine potential strategies and actions to ensure effective implementation
  • Map key processes in relation to the requirements of IATF 16949:2016
  • Translate linkages to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA
  • Complete a Gap Analysis for your organization

 

NOTEA full copy of the IATF 16949:2016 and 9001:2015 publications are not included.  However, the exacted requirements text of 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, with training commentary, will be included in the participant manual.    

This training is designed for quality professionals in the automotive industry, and recommended for:

  • New members of the implementation team responsible for transitioning the organization’s QMS to IATF 16949:2016 or those who haven’t attended a training in over 3 years
